The tires are the excellent Michelin Road 4's with about 65% tread remaining they should easily la. I also had the front brake rotors and pads replaced by BMW due to a slight pulsing not long ago. I changed the oil when I got it with regular non synthetic BMW oil, (best for these bikes) and then had full service done at about 18,500 at BMW of Atlanta and had a 7/17 oil change

I am the second owner, i purchased bike about three and a half years ago. It had the initial service and two 6000 mile services at the bmw dealer in charleston. I changed the oil when i got it with regular non synthetic bmw oil, (best for these bikes) and then had full service done at about 18,500 at bmw of atlanta and will do an oil change now. It uses basically no oil between changes. Its not due for a 6000 service until 24,500. I also had the front brake rotors and pads replaced by bmw due to a slight pulsing not long ago. I replaced the gel battery about a year ago as mine was not dead but getting weak. The tires are the excellent michelin road 4's with about 65% tread remaining they should easily last past the next service. It has a new fuel sending unit which is in warranty by bmw. Has excellent electronic cruise control, heated grips, heated seats with individual controls, computer display power adjustable windshield, adjustable seat height, $1000 optional removable travel trunk, accessory piaa lights with switch on left clutch master cylinder (which work well and are wired to shut off a few seconds after ignition, so no party ending battery drain) feel free to contact me with questions 404 273 8686 also valentine radar detector on accessory shelf with special theft proof screws than can be connected to helmet speakers. Nav iii which is not working, i suspect it has to do with the click in electrical connection as it was intermittent before quitting and i need to find the special tool to remove. Also has billet handlebar risers which can be easily removed. Another good point imho is this is not a servo assisted brake model which requires regular complex time consuming service, i bought it for this reason. I am selling because i bought a r1200rs and am riding alone and not lately riding seriously long distance. The bike is very comfortable, has very good power and handles excellently. Nothing drags on tight mountain roads and will easily keep a brisk pace. It will go about 325 miles on a tank of gas and deliver a real world 45+ mpg. The bags are scuff free. Rare Phoenix configuration and colors with 21K miles and less than 500 miles on new tires. BMW made only 50,000 R1200C bikes in all and only 1,008 of this head turning Phoenix. It's been called the Heidi Klum of bikes - a German Super Model. Anti-lock brakes, Stay N Tune pipes and engine performance chip, Cee Bailey Windshield, Policce style handlebars Passenger foot pegs, Engine guard/crash bar, Harley mirrors, Electrical accessory plug for heated jacket and/or battery tender. Battery tender and shop stand included. Always garaged or kept in carport. Never dropped or wrecked. It runs great and the stay in tune kit gives it some low end torque and growl without causing hearing loss or annoying neighbors. Sounds like neither the stock sewing machine nor a window rattling Harley.
